BA, University of Virginia
Jim has a 33-year history in the graphic arts including
a stint at Thomasson-Grant Publishing Company, where
he served as designer and production manager in charge
of a multi-million dollar budget. In addition to his
strengths as a project manager, information architect, and designer, Jim has
an avid interest in the ongoing technological revolution
in the graphic arts and actively pursues mastery of
most emerging technologies. |

Elizabeth has worked in the arts for 10+ years in various different facets. She has studied communications and art/design at the University of Michigan, maintained a professional ballet career, and developed a broad artistic portfolio both on paper and on stage. She retired from her dance profession early and is pursuing other avenues of interest, bringing her to Gibson Design Associates where she manages the business and facilitates the artistic process. |

Christopher is our Computer Programmer, a role he's flourished in after joining Gibson Design in August 2006. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Tufts University, also taking courses throughout his student career in computer programming where he learned PASCAL and C++. After working at Barnes and Noble College Bookstores and for the University of Virginia, Chris has joined GDA and now specializes in HTML, PHP, and SQL database work. |

Patrick studied fine art at Virginia Commonwealth University before joining GDA to learn both print and web design. His artistic background has facilitated his growth into a talented graphic designer who specializes in interface artwork and web design and production. On the side, he does special design work for local artists and musicians, as well as web design for local professionals. Patrick has traveled nationally to attend classes and design workshops such as Shoal's Marine Laboratory's Biological Illustration Course and the Art Directors Invitational Master Class in Monterey, California. |
