Poetry Daily
Graphic Identity
It’s a daunting challenge to come up with a graphic identity that somehow suggests the stylistic diversity of the world of poetry. In addition, this identity needed to suggest the non-academic, daily delivery nature of the Poetry Daily website. I chose to use an almost chaotic variety of typefaces for the individual characters of the word “Poetry”, pairing them with Courier for the word “Daily” to suggest the ordinariness (and history) of the typewriter.
