SERRA is a data repository designed for the EPA’s Office of Research & Development and the National Homeland Security Research Center. It provides emergency personnel in the field with the means to rapidly assess and respond to events involving disease outbreak or the presence of other dangerous agents. It is structured to create the shortest possible route to the appropriate information about characteristics, method of transition, dose information, risk assessment techniques, agent delivery mechanisms, and procedures for inactivation, decontamination, and remediation.
